How Would You Go About Getting Congress To Change…?

How would you go about getting Congress to change certain perks that they may like but we as citizens do not?
For example…
1. I do not think that they should be able to serve more than 2 terms.
2. They should NOT be allowed to vote for their own raises.
3. The government should stop paying for their high-dollar insurance premiums. If they had to find and pay for their own insurance then maybe they would try harder to make it more affordable for everyone else.
4. They should not have their full salary at retirement. I may be lucky to get 40% of my salary after working for 40 years when I retire if I plan and save…why should they get the full amount? They get paid a crazy amount of money for what most people would consider a part time job.
5. Congressmen and woman should pay into the social security system. They make laws for it. If they spent some of their own money they might try harder to make it solvent.
An elderly Amarillo lady asked this in the paper and thought it would be really interesting to see what comments I would get. I also need to know how in the world we can go about changing this stuff or can you?
